I have been a customer of calico corners for a long time and am really thrilled with their products. But after this incident I will never shop there again. I went into the westport store to return a spay bottle of stain protector where the bottle mechanism just stoppoed performing after about 1/3 of the contents were used. I explained to the woman who was working there that I have a receipt and I would like to return and just get a new one. She then had an out of body moment where she started to get very excited and agitated and that I cannot return it becuase I already used it. I said. yes. how else would I know that the bottle has a broken mechanism if I didn't use it. She then got very loud and said that I cannot return it, grabbed the bottle from my hand and stormed off to speak with her manager. She was a VERY LARGE woman and quite threatening as I was standing there in total shock. The manager allowed me to return the merchandise. But really, they need to hire people who knows how handle their emotions effectively.
Horrible. Worst customer service EVER.
